NY broke the record on poverty

The NYS Governor's office announced one in ten in the state are under the poverty level and 3 million in the same category in NYC. This is a remarkable achievement making NY the number one nationwide while the average of other states is 12.5% from the US Census. The poverty rate for 2023 was 22% nationwide which declined drastically in 2025 from the inflation adjustment which was higher before under the incoming president.

With the election coming up this November, the NYS Governor is discussing the plan to allocate around $15 billion taxpayer funds which is nothing to expand the voter base under the poverty crisis scheduled to announce in the coming weeks. With no solutions but drain taxpayer funds is the way to go forth.

After the federal office released the statement of public assistance by race, Bangladesh tops the list at 54.8 per cent, followed by Pakistan at 40.2 per cent, Nepal at 34.8 per cent, China at 32.9 per cent, Israel/Palestine at 25.9 per cent, Ukraine at 42.7 per cent, and Asia (not elsewhere classified/not specified) at 38.8 per cent, NY is the most affected state to meet the demands of food crisis.

The NYC Mayor is delighted to see the poverty rate growing currently under plans to add more programs related to vouchers as the goal is one in two from the current one in four.

The Governor emphasized more funds for Medicaid and no resources for federal activities by ICE during today's state of the state address.
