NY and Illinois refuse but Georgia started

After shooting spike in NYC and Chicago, both governors of each state refuse to control the violence. As for Atlanta, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is activating up to 1,000 National Guard troops after a spate of shootings and protests over the weekend. 5 people died, including an 8-year-old girl.
As for NYC, around 5pm, a 14 year old male shot at 166th St and Marsden St in Jamaica in critical condition. Mayor de Blasio has not responded. Over the weekend, 64 people shot in NYC with 10 dead.
This is from NYPD after press brief, 2,500 inmates were released from city jails due to the pandemic and 275 has been re-arrested 550 times for crimes.
