NY Governors proposal is facing backlash involving high school kids

The NYS Governor’s Office confirmed a new proposal from the State, again, State Dept of Education allowing high school students whether its male or female to try out for any sports team involving male or female if a school district doesn’t have separate teams in a particular sport.

One example is flag football that’s popular with females and if there is no team for male, then males can join with females to participate.

This is already causing outcry among parents in NY.

The real reason came after the Nassau County Executive went into effect saying no biological male can participate in biological female sports. This is now a law signed by the County Executive and already the NYS Attorney General filed a lawsuit.

The final vote is on September 25 and if passed, it will be signed into law.

Many insiders at the Governor's Office stated this is the start to have all to involve mixed into any sports in high schools including NYC.
