NY Governor is on the same line as the Mayor

The NYC Mayor is on the same line as the Trump administration on the migrant issues in NYC. Now the Governor is moving to the same line.

One of the leading agencies, Migrant Relocation Assistance Program (MRAP) will no longer provide service for resettlement after June 15. NYC will close most of the shelters housing migrants by the end of June and the processing center is also closing.

The program under $32.5 million relocated around 650 migrant families statewide with one year of free rent and other services from food to vouchers.

The program which started in 2023 has half of the migrant families left after rental assistance expired while some got work permits. The only location the migrants were not allowed is Nassau County under the Governor's agenda.

As of last week, more than 300 migrants were arrested in ICE raids in NYC and the arrests include alleged members of Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, ??MS-13, Sureños and the 18th Street? crew moved to Rikers Island. The NYC Council is suing the Mayor to stop ICE from operating in NYC.

The Governor is on a quiet mode with the Trump administration awaiting on the status of congestion pricing and Penn Station's $7 billion renovation not to be part of MTA.

The MTA is the governor's baby much more above migrants.
