NICE public buses all halted in Nassau County

Police have stopped all NICE buses in Nassau County from Queens to the border of Suffolk County. This is due to the shooter in West Hempstead escaped by the public bus. Last seen westbound Hempstead Turnpike in a NICE bus. ESU is working in each bus for evidence. Heavy delays all around. As of 1pm, the suspect has not been apprehended and advising all to stay indoors. One search is in Bellerose on Jericho Turnpike and 249 Street.
