Mosquito ground adulticiding scheduled for parts of the Bronx and Queens

The NYC Dept of Health will conduct ground based spraying of mosquito adulticide to help prevent West Nile Virus between 8:30pm on Monday, 7/29 to 6am on Wednesday, 7/31. Application will conducted in parts of the following zip codes in the Bronx, 10461, 10462, 10464, 10465, 10469, 10473, 10475 and Queens, 11004, 11005, 11040, 11362, 11363, 11364, 11365, 11366, 11423, 11426, 11427 and 11432.

Parts of Bayside, Bellerose Manor, Douglaston, Floral Park, Fresh Meadows, Glen Oaks, Hollis Hills, Holliswood, Jamaica Estates, Little Neck, Oakland Gardens, Queens Village and

Utopia scheduled for July 31.

Residents are advised to stay indoors when the trucks are out there.
