Fire updates around Queens and Nassau

Around 3am last night, FDNY reported a third alarm on Liberty Avenue at 168-20. EMS transported 8 people who were injured to local hospitals. The Red Cross transported those displaced.

The fire started in the first floor of a two story building and extended throughout according to fire officials.

Then around 3:45am, a fire broke out in Corona. This is on 96th Street at 53-25 in the first floor

Around 8am, fire was reported at a home in Queens Village. This is on 93rd Road at 224-05.

Around 11:30am, a 2nd alarm fire at a warehouse in Jamaica. This is on 183rd Street near 149th Avenue.

As for Nassau County, around 1pm, a kitchen fire was reported in Oceanside. This is on Madison Avenue near Morton Avenue.

The same time, Mineola reported a fire at a location on Pembrook Drive near Rex Court.

All incidents are under investigation.
