Morning workers went for cover in Rosedale

This morning around 8am, the NYPD reported multiple shots fired in Rosedale. This is by the local train station at the intersection of Francis Lewis Blvd and Sunrise Highway.

ESU recovered shell casings and shortly the gun.

This is the third incident related to shots fired in Queens.

On October 21, Sunnyside reported multiple shots fired in the vicinity of 39th Street and 47th Avenue around 9pm.

On October 20, a male was shot in Long Island City around 4am in the vicinity of 43rd Avenue 11th Street.

The Mayor's Office stated gun violence is working by removing guns from the streets that are transported illegally from out of state and more work needs to be done to keep the city safe.
