More love expansion welcoming tenders in NY

The NYS Office of Mental Health and Office of Addiction Services and Supports are inviting the public to submit their request for proposals to establish 12 new supportive crisis stabilizion centers in NY. This is the next expansion after injection and abortion centers in NY.

The Governor's Office confirmed they want to open three centers in NYC with expansion to the exisiting Creedmoor facility with more services and one each in the remaining nine economic development regions. The north country region comprises Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties.

The locations must be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For eligibility one must apply include certain not-for-profit agencies or public benefit corporations with experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
