More beds coming to Creedmoor

After the NYC Mayor announced closure of migrant shelters, Creedmoor in Bellerose will continue to expand with more beds and other facilities.

So far the taxpayer funded housing around the city is moving to northeast Queens where developers are eyeing more apartments in Floral Park Village, Bellerose Terrace and Village, Elmont and Queens Village border to expand the base for the UBS Arena similar to the CitiField project.

A meeting has been scheduled with the NY Governor on the expansion mode for the area.

The next budget for migrants is $4.3 billion announced by the Comptroller's Office which will be released in part to mainly nonprofits for payroll and other perks while servicing the crisis without endless solutions to keep the operation running.

A very lucrative operation.

The majority of local residents embrace migrants and as of this week so far not a single resident welcomed them to their homes.

So far $5 billion was spent on migrants in the last 3 years while only $20 million for mental health which was due to then Governor Cuomo who shut down 10 of the 24 psychiatric hospitals.
