Mineola is all smoke

The fire commissioner just announced all to stay indoor and not go out around Jericho Turnpike and Willis Avenue vicinity due to heavy smoke. The fire at 159 Jericho Turnpike spread rapidly and neighbor businesses have been evacuated. Police have closed off several routes in the area. Jericho Turnpike closed in both directions. Four tenants above the eatery including children have been evacuated.
