Midnight assault in Bellerose with victim in serious condition

Police were called to 246-04 Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose reporting a victim was assaulted. It happened on Sunday, May 14 after midnight. EMS reported the victim is in serious condition. Police reported one in custody after search at 244 Street and 88 Avenue. Ongoing investigation.
