Merrick is always Merrick on bullets in Queens

The NYPD Shooting Incident Data released the info on shooting in Queens over the last 20 years.

The accurate number is 4,426 shootings in Queens as of the year 2006. Of those incidents, 14 were reported on Merrick Blvd from Jamaica to the Belt Parkway vicinity of Laurelton, St. Albans to Cambria Heights. This is the route with the highest incident of bullets followed by Sutphin Blvd and then Liberty Avenue.

The attached image shows 822 shootings in one part of Queens, the highest.

Despite the number showing Queens, Brooklyn leads the top spot with over 10,000 followed by the Bronx and then Manhattan. Queens and Staten Island are still par below level compared to the rest of the three boroughs.
