Mendes and 48 others were inducted into LISFL

The very first Long Island Soccer Football League Hall of Fame was a grand success held last week at Floral Terrace in Floral Park where Carlos Mendes, the captain of New York Cosmos along with 48 others were honored. More than 250 showed up along with press and other soccer fans to get a glimpse at their favorite players. The highlight of the event was Mendes, a Mineola native who is popular among New York soccer fans.
