Free pet adoptions prove priceless at Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter

The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter on Long Island has agreed to waive all adoption fees for the holidays, during its annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Program, which will run from Nov. 30-Jan. 5. Services will include free rabies shots, free spaying/neutering, testing for feline AIDs/leukemia and micro-chipping. In addition, all adopted animals will be given coupons for no fee examines at Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital, obedience classes provided by the Dog Obedience Club of South Nassau, and a free grooming session for canines at Floral Park?s Jo-Mar Grooming salon. The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter is located at 3320 Beltagh Ave, Wantagh, NY, and is open for adoptions Tues., Wed. & Fri. from 10 am- 6pm.; Thur. from noon-8pmand Sun. 11am ?4 pm.
