Mayor cries more federal cash as two new payouts on a roll with another rollout

The NYC Mayor’s Office is now seeking more cash from the federal government to handle the migrants in two sectors. One is the influx of children in public schools and the education chancellor states it’s a “godsend” for additional 20,000 new students. As of last May, the number of migrant students in public schools is increasing and is expected to reach 30,000 for this year. The NYC Schools Chancellor Banks quoted to NY Times,

"For some of the schools, the migrants coming here have been a godsend because we’ve lost so many other kids. Some schools were being threatened with whether we’re going to be able to keep the doors open."

The next one is payout of $6,000 per child per migrant born in NYC to a couple to start a family paid by taxpayers. This is not including housing assistance, medical and other programs.

As for the rollout, the lease is extended at Floyd Bennett Field for another year and the Mayor will allocate more funding to keep the migrants happy with taxpayer funds.

After all, the majority of New Yawkers are not complaining despite many facing cuts from their own vouchers by giving to migrants.
