Massena women arrested for larceny

On December 12, 2025, New York State Police charged April L. Stewart, age 44, of Massena, St. Lawrence County, with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Petit Larceny.

The charges stem from an incident reported on September 18, 2025, at approximately 12:55 p.m., involving unauthorized charges made on a debit card. An investigation determined that Stewart was in possession of the victim’s debit card and used it to complete fraudulent purchases totaling $579.85.

Stewart was arrested and processed at SP Canton. She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Massena Court at a later date.
