Massachusetts male arrested for promotion of a sexual performance by a child and possession of a sexual performance by a child

On November 21, 2024, the New York State Police Troop B Computer Crime Unit arrested COLIN C. HARRISON, age 21, of Friend Street, Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts on one count each of Promotion of a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child.  The investigation was initiated by two online platforms reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) child exploitation material had been sent through those online platforms through a WiFi network HARRISON had access to.

HARRISON was issued Appearance Tickets, answerable in Town of Potsdam Court on a later date. 

The investigation is still ongoing.

The Troop B Computer Crime Unit was assisted by the Potsdam Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations.
