Maspeth homeowner arrested for assaulting police officers

Edward Wysk, 51 of Maspeth was taken into custody after investigation reported of the alleged brick throwing at one of the police officer. The incident took place on Tuesday around 12:30pm on Maspeth Avenue and 59th Street. Police originally reported two construction workers were fighting which caused one to throw brick at the police officer. Further investigation reported of Wysk accused of throwing the brick which caused injuries to the officer. Another officer was also injured. An official from NYC DEP was also injured when told Wysk work cannot be done without permit. Two construction workers were not charged and released. Wysk is being held on $10,000 bail.
