Manhasset man busted with illegal guns

The NCPD reports the arrest of a Manhasset man for an incident that occurred on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 12:12 PM in Manhasset.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, The Nassau County District Attorney’s Office along with Homeland Security Investigations, United States Customs and Border Protection and United States Postal Inspectors executed a search warrant at 63 Circle Drive. During the subsequent investigation eighteen handguns were recovered from the residence. Matthew Spigner, 69, of Manhasset was placed into police custody without incident.
The defendant is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned when medically practical. (From NCPD)
