Fatality on the CIP southbound

Police closed off the Cross Island Parkway southbound by Exit 25 reporting one dead from vehicle accident. It happened around 3:15am. ESU cleared the traffic around 7am. Ongoing investigation.

Update - This happened by Hempstead Turnpike Exit when the car hit a guardrail causing to flip resulting one dead. Two others were taken to local hospital with injuries. This was a single vehicle accident.
