Man stopped at train station for smoking busted for gun in the Bronx

Yesterday morning, your NYPDTransit officers stopped a man for smoking on the platforms at the Bedford Park train station. Further investigation revealed that the man with half-a-dozen prior arrests had a bench warrant, was on parole AND was carrying this illegal firearm.
