Man busted for gun during a house party in Long Island

The NCPD reports the arrest of a Georgia man on Sunday March 6, 2022 at 1:09am in Carle Place.

According to Detectives, Officers were called to the Homewood Suites located at 40 Westbury Avenue for a person in need of medical assistance and for an unknown person in possession of a handgun. The Officers investigation determined a party was being held at the hotel for the 16-year-old male victim who suffered from a laceration to his forehead. During the party there was a dispute between two men, Defendant Reginald Dalcime, 40, of 10800 Alpharetta Hwy Apt. 453208 Roswell Georgia retrieved a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson semi-automatic handgun and was in possession of it during the party. With cooperation of witnesses the firearm was located by police and Defendant Dalcime was taken into custody without incident. No further injuries were reported.

Defendant Reginald Dalcime is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, nine counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and Reckless Endangerment. The Defendant will be arraigned on Monday March 7, 2022 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
