Fatality involving a motorcyclist in Hempstead

The NCPD report the details of a fatal auto accident involving a motorcycle that occurred on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 4:33 pm.

According to detectives, while heading southwest on Peninsula Boulevard, operating a 2002 Honda motorcycle, a 27-year-old male was involved in a collision with a 2008 Toyota Camry, that was traveling northeast near Madison Avenue. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by a staff physician.

The male operator of the Toyota, 39, remained at the scene and was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
