Man arrested for leaving a dog on the Southern State Parkway

After further investigation, the NYS Trooper announced the arrest of a man wanted for leaving a dog tied to a pole on the Southern State Parkway.

The man identified as Glenroy Bramble, 65 is now facing charges after he allegedly tied a mastiff dog to a pole and a driver stopped the vehicle to call 911.

The incident was reported on July 1.

The dog has been adopted to a new happy family home on Long Island.

Bramble has been charged with abandonment of an animal and faces a violation for failing to provide appropriate shelter for a dog. Bramble is expected to appear in Nassau County District Court on Aug. 19.
