Male struck by vehicle in Elmont

The NCPD reports a serious accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Monday, September 27, 2020 at 10:40 pm in Elmont.

According to officers, while attempting to cross Meacham Avenue at E Street, a 66 year old male was struck by 2007 Mazda that was being driven by a 59 year old male. The driver, who called 911, remained at the scene. As a result of the collision the pedestrian suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He is listed in serious condition.
