Male hit by train dead in Mineola

Around 10am this morning, the Mineola station of LIRR was delayed due to a male hit by a train.

The male died on the scene.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

ESU cleared the area around 11am and power was resumed for trains to continue.

Ongoing investigation.
