Domestic violence turned fatal in South Richmond Hill

A domestic violence turned fatal in South Richmond Hill. Police were called to a home this morning around 7am on 109th Avenue near 115th Street. The body of a male, 70, was found stabbed.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

The victim's wife gave a statement to the police and detectives tracked down the daughter in New Jersey where she was taken into custody.

Charges are pending after extradition is arraigned.

The investigation continues.
