Love is all set at Creedmoor in Glen Oaks and Bellerose

The NYC Mayor's Office confirmed Creedmoor will house migrants due to lack of spaces in the city. This is in cooperation with the state.

Only adults primarily males will be under the tent at the Bellerose Glen Oaks vicinity despite protests from local community activists.

How many will be alloted has not been disclosed by the Governor's Office but it's on a small scale to start with appointed nonprofits to handle the operation until expansion throughout the rest of the locations.

The Governor's Office passed a message to the Mayor's Office on the day of protest of Creedmoor in front of the Community Board 13 on July 20 that it's a go as developers are working on the mega shelter plans. The affordable housing plan is not on the table.

The Creedmoor setup will be fully funded by the state including staff, medical care rest rooms, cables, unlimited long distance calls, food and much more inside the tent.

However, this is not enforced under the Mayor's 60 days rule of relocation with new migrants. The state will have security to monitor the migrants and local residents will be advised of what to do in event of harassment, assault or robbery. Volunteers will pass pamphlets to locals on guidelines.

Private contractors arrived last week on a discreet basis to survey the land and will continue to work on the site to set up the tents all set to go next week.

Then developers continued with the mega shelter plan at the same location.

Welcome to Glen Oaks migrants with love
