Loud noises from protests canceled Aqueduct for migrants

The Mayor’s Office confirmed after loud and clear objections that housing migrants in the parking lot of Aqueduct Racetrack is off.

This came after residents and local elected officials gathered to call off. The Queens Borough President was really looking forward to the Aqueduct setup along with Creedmoor but disappointed. His office stated migrants are about dignity and compassion which is the same expression used by nonprofits for more fundings.

More locations will be announced in the coming days to house migrants.

As for Long Island, Nassau County Executive Blakeman is firm no while Bellone is mostly no with few yeses. Suffolk County is in need of workers for the wealthy residents who prefer to pay off the books.
