Glen Oaks welcomes love while Aqueduct is protesting

After the NYC Mayor announced plans to have tents in Creedmoor and Aqueduct Racetrack parking lots, the latter objected and a protest today inviting all.

Local City Councilmember Linda Lee's Office replied there is nothing that can be done while Assemblymember David Weprin is occupied with his real day job as a high paid lawyer had no comments from his office. The same with residents in the Creedmoor vicinity who are all gainfully employed with families will have lack of time for protests. As of today, no nonprofit organization has arranged paid protesters.

The Aqueduct protest is organized by local civic groups with local residents.

This week, officials from the Mayor's Office will be arriving at both locations to survey how the perimeter will be set up for migrants at both locations.
