Long time Greek Orthodox church had fire in Corona

Corona - FDNY reported to 38-05 98th Street reporting church fire inside the Greek Orthodox Community of Transfiguration Church. The fire occurred on Friday, May 19 around 2:30pm. Two members of FDNY suffered minor injuries. One civilian was taken to a local hospital with inhalation. The cause of fire is under investigation. pic by FDNY. Reported 5pm.
