Long Island traffic from fatality serious to injuries

Police have closed off the Sagtikos Parkway in Bay Shore reporting a multiple vehicle accident with one dead. This is by the Southern State Parkway where the accident occurred has delays. The incident was reported around 3pm this afternoon.

The LIE has lanes closed by Exit 58 eastbound reporting a multiple vehicle accident with injuries from the picture.

A pedestrian was struck by the ramp of Exit 70 around 9am. EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital in serious condition.

As of now, Long Island reported 18 multiple vehicle accidents.

The rain is expected to slow down by 5pm.

Drivers are advised to be cautious.
