Long Island man busted for vehicle breaks ins

The NCPD report the arrest of a Bethpage man for a Grand Larceny from an automobile that occurred on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 7:40 AM in Levittown.
According to Detectives, officers received several 911 calls for a man going through cars and carrying a machete on Jupiter Lane, Hickory Lane and Mallard Road. Police Officers responded to the area and located the defendant, Vincent Derosa, 40, of Suffolk County on Farm Ranch Road South. During a search of the defendant and his property, items were recovered that had been reported stolen from a vehicle in the area. The items were identified by the victim and Vincent Derosa was placed under arrest without further incident.
The Defendant Vincent Derosa has been charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree and Petit Larceny. He was released on an Appearance Ticket and no bail.
Derosa was previously arrested on Thursday, September 16, 2021 and was charged with Harassment 1st degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was released with an appearance ticket and no bail. He is due in court for that incident on May 18, 2022. (From NCPD)
