Lock up to avoid fines from mixture garbage in NYC

Ok the battle of rats continues to go on in NYC.

With 8.3 million New Yawkers, there are 3 million rats of all types in the city and everyone sees them in their daily lives saying oh, ah, hey or just run away.

However, there is another one to watch out for and that's people walking by and dumping garbage inside the plastic bin on the sidewalk for pickup by the sanitation dept.

According to the sanitation dept, fines from recycling to cardboards placed inside the container for non-pick up days remains in effect and it's still $25 per bag.

Beside locks, residents have painted their address on the bin and some have chained next to a tree from being stolen.

It's one of the most precious commodities NYC residents value in today's lifestyle.
