Local area fire reported from Bellerose to Whitestone

Firefighters reported a home fire this morning in Bellerose. This is on Hurdon Road near Jericho Turnpike. The fire started around 8:30am and was brought under control shortly.

Before 12pm, a fire broke out from a home in Whitestone. This is on 11th Avenue near 152nd Street. The fire started in the second floor. By 12:40pm, the fire was brought under control.

Around 1am last night, Richmond Hill reported heavy fire. This is in the vicinity of 101st Avenue neat 116th Street. This was a commercial building.

EMS attended to all injuries involved.

The fire marshals are working on both incidents to determine the cause of fire.
