Local July 4th events cancelled

From The Town of North Hempstead, Jones Beach fireworks to Flushing's Dragon Boat Race, all fireworks and related events have been cancelled for July 4th weekend. There are several drive-thru movies in Long Island but enforced only for the incorporated villages and residents must check with local committee. As for NYC, the only fireworks event is Macy's where each borough will have 5 minutes.
