Local Assemblyman want to charge you a 3 surcharge for each online delivery transaction

A new bill introduced in NY by local Assembly member Robert Carroll to charge a $3 surcharge for each online transaction from Amazon to Walmart. So each package will be charged a $3 surcharge to cover the mounting debt of MTA which needs $12 billion. The advantage is to allow people to shop locally and help small businesses in NYC which are facing financial crises. Also, this is part of the Green Deal, the Democrat Socialists are pushing for. If the bill passes the Assembly, then it has to go to the Senate to pass and then the Governor has to sign to make it law. Many insiders are saying this is a long road but the majority of lawmakers are already supporting the Green Deal under socialism to continue to tax the working class more and more with new bills coming in 2021. Get ready to pay more. The $3 does not include food and medicine but how to prove it has not been disclosed yet.
