Fatal vehicle accident in Ozone Park

Police confirmed one person injured and transported to a local hospital after multiple vehicle accident in Ozone Park has died. The incident was reported on December 7 around 8:45pm on the Nassau Expressway westbound side at the North Conduit Avenue exit ramp. 4 people were taken to local hospitals with injuries. One passenger, female, 18, Datanja Britt of Brooklyn was ejected from the vehicle who was taken to hospital in critical condition. The driver, 18 year old female realized she took the wrong exit while driving a BMW X5, 2000 year. NYPD reported, "The vehicle was traveling westbound on the Nassau Expressway and continued onto the exit ramp to the westbound Belt Parkway. The operator realized she was exiting the Nassau Expressway at the wrong exit and crossed over the raised grass median to exit to North Conduit Avenue. Upon doing so, the operator failed to properly navigate the roadway and veered to the right, overturning the vehicle onto North Conduit Avenue." The investigation continues.
