Leading NYC unions endorsed Cuomo over Adams

This afternoon, two major powerhouse unions who have the strength to swing the Mayoral election to their favor of NYC endorsed Andrew Cuomo over the current Mayor Adams.

The Hotel and Gaming Trades Council and 32BJ SEIU, both are the largest unions nationwide.

This came after Cuomo announced 500,000 new homes for NYC.

Meanwhile, the current Mayor is in the Dominican Republic after the nightclub tragedy along with other city's commissioners and selected officials. The deputy Mayor Randy Mastro is in charge of NYC, disappointing those in the NYC Council, NYS Assembly and Senate who voted against him from being the next General Counsel, the top lawyer position in NYC.

The next candidate Zohran Mamdani running on the socialism ticket by promoting free bus services paid by taxpayers is gaining ground and then focus on free subway rides possibly. This is where the Working Families Party will test their result from their ranked choices in the primary. If none of their endorsed candidates win, then another ballot of WFE may be used to choose one candidate. This is going to be interesting to watch in the general election with WEF.
