Until 99.8% Martins was leading and after all votes are counted Curran won with 100% results in. Also for Suffolk County Executive post, Democrat Tom Sini, the former Commissioner of Police won by over 60%. Now both Nassau and Suffolk of Long Island Executives are Democrats.
