LIE westbound shut down

Police closed of the LIE westbound by Exit 33, Lakeville Road reporting police activity. Now reporting crash involving pursuit after driver failed to stop by the mall. More than 20 police cars are on the scene. Delays all around.

Now reporting all from the vehicle involved in the chase took off on foot. Ongoing investigation.
