Kidnapping investigation inside the subway station in Sunnyside

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of a perp wanted in questioning for a kidnapping incident in Sunnyside. Police say the incident occurred on April 20 around 5:30pm during the rush hour in the vicinity of Queens Blvd and 46th Street. The preliminary report says the female victim was walking when the alleged perp approached with an introduction. The 23 year old victim walked away.

This is when the male picked up the victim and dragged to the Bliss Street subway station. After hearing screams with commuters during rush hour, the victim managed to escape.

Now police are working to apprehend the perp.

The victim has changed her route for safety.
