June 30 at 12 01 goes CP in NYC

The MTA agency New Yawkers love will start the congestion pricing on June 30 at 12:01am officially. This is two weeks behind the schedule expected.

Applications are now being accepted for low income New Yawkers while the rest of the hard working humans in passenger vehicles must pay $15 without exceptions for peak hours.

Trucks will be charged anywhere from $24-$36 depending on size, and motorcycles will be charged $7.50.

The exempted victims are the government including city and state vehicles and school buses contracted with the Board of Education.

Meanwhile, the lawsuit remains and the next court date against the CP is on May 17th.

This will most likely happen with another date for court proceedings but won’t stop the MTA from going forward.
