It s manhole fire season

The FDNY is reporting of increasing calls on the manhole fire. This is due to snow melt down the manhole cover where electrical lines are causing sparks. There is no need to panic if smokes are coming out of the manhole covers on the road. Call 911 and the FDNY will see to the scene.
