Electronic cargo bike companies are booming in NYC and there are 6 companies operating soon to be ten, that's diez in Spanish.

Electronic box trucks operated by UPS and others which cost around $20K are soon to have their way in the bike lanes once the measurements are set.

So in reality the bike lanes are for delivery companies and not for the regular, average humans of the city that's promoted by nonprofits and lobbying groups funded by the companies operating them.

As of August, delivery by bikes for app food service providers doubled and expected to increase by this Thanksgiving holiday in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Bronx, oh well is still reeling from the deduction to public benefits and Queens is all local markets where franchisees are still having hard time scrambling for locations.

Meanwhile, the city is working with corporations to review delivery routes to make the model successful for faster operations.
