Injury fire at 34 17 Bell Blvd one civilian injured

A significant fire incident occurred on the second floor of a structure at 34-17 Bell Blvd in Bayside on Tuesday afternoon, leading to one civilian sustaining serious injuries. Firefighters acted swiftly, managing to bring the blaze under control after conducting a comprehensive secondary search, which revealed no further victims.

As per information from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), the fire was initially reported at 1:34 p.m. EST when a 911 caller notified the authorities. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered thick smoke and flames coming from the second floor. All available units were summoned to combat the fire, and within roughly 15 minutes, they had the situation contained.

A civilian, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, received treatment on the scene from paramedics for serious injuries before being taken to a local hospital. Officials have stated that the condition of the injured person is stable, although details regarding their recovery are scarce.

Firefighters dedicated their efforts to ensuring that no other individuals were trapped inside the building and that no additional casualties were reported.
