Human remains found in the Long Island

Around 4pm on Monday afternoon, police were alerted of human remains at the construction site in Nassau County. This is near the apartment complex in Woodbury. This is on Fairview Blvd.

Workers while digging found the remains and then the NCPD took over the area.

The medical examiner transported the remains pending autopsy.

A spokesperson with the NCPD stated the remains were over 100 years old.

The investigation continues.
