Howard Beach expansion by Russo

The well known Russo’s on the Bay located on Cross Bay Blvd is planning to build apartments under the affordable housing program in Howard Beach.

The plan is to develop three buildings near the restaurant that will consist of 240 apartments, a hotel and retail spaces. First the plan needs approval from the NYC Planning Commission. 30% of the apartments will be allocated under affordable housing if approved.

The same owner also owns the luxury apartment on Northern Blvd in Douglaston called Luxes by Russo. This is by 241st Street which was opened October 11 of last year.

The catering hall was first opened in 1987 in Howard Beach and since then the location has thrived in the city where people often attend events. Their division, Bay Gourmet has 13 locations in NY and NJ.
