Homicide investigation on East Elmhurst

The NYPD reported a woman was found shot dead inside a home in East Elmhurst. The incident was reported on Friday night around 9:30pm near the vicinity of Astoria Blvd and the Grand Central Parkway. Police also closed off the Grand Central Parkway after the suspect with matching description was seen according to a witness. ESU cleared the scene with evidence search. The medical examiner transported the body of the victim, female, 21, to conduct an autopsy.

Detectives are continuing to work on the case.

So far no arrests.
